Mexican singer and actress Thalía got
involved in show business at the age of nine, when the young girl joined a local
group called Din Din, recording an album for the first time in 1981 which was
released under the name of Alegrias Musicales. Two years later, the artist
successfully participated in a festival called Juguemos A Cantar, singing
"Moderna Chica Del Rock," soon getting a role in the musical Vaselina. In 1986,
Thalía
joined Latin pop act Timbiriche.
Around the same time, the artist played roles in soap operas such as Quinceañera
and Luz y Sombra. |

It was in 1989 when Thalía
decided to start her solo career, recording a self-titled album in 1990,
produced by Alfredo
Díaz Ordaz, followed by 1991's Mundo de Cristal and 1992's Love. In addition, during the 1990s, the
singer/actress played the lead in María Mercedes, Marimar and Maria La Del
Barrio, consolidating her popularity throughout Latin America. In 1995, Emilio
