1. Returns are allowed ONLY WHEN the goods are delivered incorrectly to the
order:
Returns and exchanges will only be accepted when the goods are delivered
incorrectly to the customer's order. Customer's request for return or exchange
must be made within one week after the goods are received by the customer or
within 15 days of invoice date.
2. Case of exchange of goods:
In some circumstances, customer's request for exchange of the goods, even
in case the initial shipment was made correctly to the customer's order. But,
this applies to the case when the goods were initially delivered from our own
stock. If the goods were initially delivered, not from our stock, but by the
new factory production specifically to meet the customer's order, any request
for return/exchange is not accepted.
3. RESTOCKING CHARGE and Shipping charges on exchanges:
When the customer's request for exchange might have been accepted, customer
shall be responsible to pay the restocking charge of U$ 10.- and the reshipment
and handling cost. And the return of the goods to us shall be made on his or
her own cost.
4. Sale items are not returnable nor refundable.
In case customer has bought any goods which have been on special sale in
our site, such sale items are NOT returnable or refundable.
5. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable:
All refunds are for merchandise only, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
6. Items LOST during the delivery:
If an item is not received and considered lost, please contact DanceUniverse
and the situation will be resolved with the assistance of the customer service
department. Please allow thrity(30) business days from date shipped for international
orders before declaring an item lost.
7. Specific terms on exchange varying with the different category of item:
Specific terms on the exchange/return of goods vary with the different items. The details are as follows.
7-1. Music CD, Video Tape, DVD, etc. : Exchange or return of these items are not allowed, as far as they were delivered correctly as ordered.
7-2. Dance Shoes: Please note that the selection of the shoes style and size is made
under the customer's own responsibility. The return for size exchange or refund is NOT ALLOWED. Due to the extreme variety of combinations of the shoes style, material, color, size, heel type, heel height, etc., the dance shoes are mostly prepared by factory processing upon specific order. This is why the dance shoes are basically not allowed for return or exchange.
However, for the shoes which were delivered from our DanceUniverse' OWN STOCK, the return for size exchange could be discussed and AGREED under the conditions as follows: (1) Shoes must show no sign of wear or soil or test dance mark on the bottom sole. (2) Shoe box interior packing must be included and shoe box must be undamaged. (3) The shoes shall be in resaleable condition.
When sending shoes back to us, please do not put tape or labels on the shoe box. DanceUniverse will return any item showing wear or damage. Returned shoes showing signs of wear or shoe boxes showing damage will be returned to the customer. Customer will pay any shipping expenses.
note: The size conversion chart gives the customer a GUIDELINE ONLY to HELP him/her to select the shoes size. DanceUniverse DOES NOT GUARANTEE the data of the conversion chart to work correctly for every different person. We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for the shoes size selection which the customer shall eventually decide. Please note that the shoes size selection shall be made under the CUSTOMER'S OWN RESPONSIBILITY.
7-3. Special-order Dance Shoes: If the dance shoes were processed by special adjustment of fitting or color/material combination or special heel height/type, different from the standard supply, exchange/return is NOT accepted.
7-4. Shoes delivered DIRECTLY from manufacturer after being processed by
factory order: Exchange/Return is NOT possible unless it is defective.
7-5. Dancewear: Returns and exchanges will only be accepted if the dancewear
is unworn and hang tag is still attached. Bodywear (bodysuits) is considered
intimate apparel and are NOT exchangeable or returnable. Any returned bodysuits
will NOT be refunded, available for exchange, or returned to the customer.
7-6. Special Order Dancewear (like Ballroom Dress MADE-TO-ORDER): If the
dancewear was supplied in a custom-fit design, size modification of existing
READY-TO-WEAR items, or of special color/material ordering secification, it
is NOT exchangeable or returnable.
7-7. Dancewears delivered DIRECTLY from manufacturer supplied by factory
order processing: Exchange/Return is NOT possible unless it is defective.
7-8. Video tape, VCD, DVD: Exchange or return of correctly delivered goods
is NOT possible.
7-9. Accessories: Return/exchange must be made within one week after the
goods are received by the customer or within 15 days of invoice date.
7-10. All custom-order products: Exchange/Return is NOT possible unless it
is defective.
8. Return Shipping Address:
Returns must be shipped to, if the goods were shipped from DanceUniverse:

note:
- The return goods package with green customs tag with marking of "RETURN
GOODS. Customs Value ZERO."
- Must be sent postage paid.
- Must be in new, resalable condition in the original packaging with tags
still attached.
- Shoe boxes must not be damaged.
- Must include instructions telling us what you would like done with your
returned items.
- Credit Card information must be given for reshipment charges with your
return (Card Type, Card Number, Name of Card Owner, Billing Address of the Card)
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen return packages, we strongly
suggest you insure your return shipment.
